Souper Sundays

"Souper Sundays" is a community soup kitchen hosted by Immanuel every Sunday at 4:30. Immanuel, in partnership with other faith groups, provides not just soup, but a tasty, nutritious hot meal for anyone in need.  Thousands have been fed in this ministry which is in its 4th year! Stephen Ministry

At its heart, Stephen Ministry is distinctively Christian caring following the example of Jesus to “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”(Galatians 6:2). Our trained Stephen Ministers walk alongside someone experiencing a difficult time in their life. They listen, care and, most importantly, bring the stability of Jesus’ love and grace into people’s lives. Family Promise

Immanuel is a partner congregation with Family Promise of Martin County. We work to help keep families together as they face homelessness and help them find work and a sustainable living situation. Once a quarter Immanuel provides shelter and home-cooked meals to the families that are part of the program.

 

Real Life Children's Ranch

Immanuel heavily supports the ministry of Real Life Children’s Ranch in Okeechobee, Florida.  They are a refuge for children who have been removed from their homes for their own safety.  The Ranch provides warm, loving, and Christian family-style living for these children.  As Jesus said, “Whoever welcomes the littlest of these, welcomes me!”

 

Guatemalen Evangelical Ministry

Help sponsor children in Guetemala City and Paramos. For a mere $40.00 per month, you can insure a child is well-fed and has appropriate medical and dental care.
